In one sentence: Nommeros reads how much you publish on the channels you connect, so your character levels up. It does not read what you write, or who you talk to, and it cannot post in your name.

What data we keep, and why

What we do NOT do, and this is the important part
- We do not read the content of what you publish. Only how many things you have published. The permission we ask YouTube for is read only: it cannot modify or delete anything.
- We cannot post in your name. No scheduling, no commenting, no liking.
- We do not read messages, contacts, email or files. We ask for no permission that grants access to any of that.
- We do not sell or hand your data to anyone. There are no advertisers, no data brokers, and no third party pixels in the game. The only pixel anywhere in this house is the open pixel in our own product news emails, and it is explained further down.
- We do not build advertising profiles and we make no automated decisions with legal effects on you.
Google data, specifically
Nommeros use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements (Limited Use).
From the youtube.readonly permission we use exactly three numbers (how many videos, how many views and how many subscribers your channel has) and the channel identifier. Nothing else. You can take our access away at any time from
the permissions page of your Google account: the moment you do, your Nomms stops levelling up through that channel and we never read anything again.
How long we keep it
- For as long as you have an account. If you delete it, everything attached to it goes with it.
- If you disconnect a channel, we stop reading it and delete its tokens.
- The level your Nomms already earned stays: it is the history of what you published, and history does not roll back.
Who we share it with
Only with whoever is needed to make this work, and nobody else: Railway (where the server and the database live), Cloudflare (the domain and the email) and Resend (who sends our emails). Each one sees only what it needs for its part.
And if you tick the newsletter box, your email address leaves here and travels to El Show de Last, which is who those letters belong to. You get an email from them to confirm the sign up: if you do not confirm it, you end up on no list at all. Only the email address travels, nothing about your Nomms or your channels. If you leave the box unticked, none of this happens.
What an email of ours measures
The email that gives you access to your account measures absolutely nothing: it comes from
mail.nommeros.com, which is the service mailbox, and there is no measurement there at all.
The product news emails, when there are any, measure one single thing: whether you open them. The open is detected with an invisible one pixel image and looked at in aggregate, to know whether the subject line works. Links are neither measured nor rewritten: they go straight to their destination, through no redirector of ours or anybody else, so the address you see when you hover is the real one. If you would rather the open was not measured either, your email program can block images and it stops being recorded.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection, plus withdrawing your consent whenever you want. Write to team@nommeros.com and we answer. To leave the newsletter you do not even need to write: every letter carries its own unsubscribe link. Deleting your Nommeros account does not take you off that list, because it is not the same house, so if you want both things, use that link too. If you think we have not done this right, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Minors
Nommeros is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly ask them for data. If we spot an account belonging to someone under that age, we delete it.
If this changes
This page is updated with its date. If the change affects what data we read or what for, we tell you by email beforehand, never quietly.
