In one sentence: Nommeros is a free game where your character levels up with what you actually do. A channel belongs to one single account, and there is no way to buy level.
1 · What this is
Nommeros is a free game. You create a character (a Nomms) and it levels up from what you actually do, on the channels or projects you connect. There is no subscription, there are no payments, and progress cannot be bought.
2 · Your account
- One Nomms per person.
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.
- You have to be at least 14 years old.
3 · The channels you connect: the rule that matters most
You can only connect channels that are yours, and the only way to connect them is by authorising them with the account that controls them. We do not accept pasting a URL or typing a username: it is the platform itself that confirms the channel is yours.
A channel belongs to one single Nommeros account. If you try to connect a channel that is already on another account, the system rejects it and tells you. A channel is never reassigned quietly.
Impersonating another creator is forbidden and is grounds for closing the account. It also breaks the terms of every platform.
4 · If a channel of yours turns up on an account that is not yours
Write to us at team@nommeros.com with the channel and proof that you control it. Here is what happens then:
- We freeze the other account link and the experience that came from that channel. We delete nothing.
- We settle it within 72 hours.
- If the channel is yours, the link moves to your account. The experience that channel generated travels with you: it is your work, you published it.
- The other account keeps everything that did not come from that channel.
We never delete a Nomms over a channel dispute. Freezing and handing back is reversible; deleting is not.
5 · How you level up, and how you do not
The only thing that gives experience is what you do yourself. Never what your audience does, and never what somebody else does for you. What counts depends on the mode you picked when you created your Nomms:
If your Nomms is a creator one
- Publishing. Every piece you publish on a connected channel counts. It is the base, and by far the heaviest thing.
- Covering ground. Publishing on the same day across several networks, or across several of your brands, gives a bonus. It rewards spreading out, not repeating: fifty pieces on a single channel are still a single channel.
- Sustaining a brand. Publishing several days in a row under the same brand gives a bonus that grows with the streak.
If your Nomms is a MRR
- Sustaining revenue. Every day you sustain your MRR counts, with the figure you declare yourself. That Nomms does not level up by publishing, just as the creator one does not level up by invoicing.
- Getting paid for one off work. A commission, a one off sale or any income that is not recurring also counts, on the day you get paid. The rule is the same in both cases: a euro earned is worth the same whether it comes from a subscription or from an invoice.
The ground and streak bonuses are worked out only from your own posts, and they close when the day ends: today shows up tomorrow. There is no daily experience cap: if one day turns out huge, you collect all of it.
And how you do not level up:
- Fighting gives no experience. It gives materials and quests, never level.
- Nor does looking after your Nomms. It feeds its life and its home, not its level.
- Nor does gear. It changes how it looks and how it hits, not what level it is.
- Nor does being seen. Views, followers and likes give no level. What your audience does is not what you do.
- Level cannot be bought. There is no mechanism for it, it is not a pricing decision.
So what your audience does counts for nothing?
It does count, just somewhere else. Your Nomms has three separate meters and only the first one is the level:
- Level. How much you have done. It only rises with what is above.
- Renown. How many people you reach: followers and reach.
- Prestige. How many people care: likes, comments, saves and shares. A comment weighs more than a like, and a save or a share weighs more than a comment, because they cost more to give.
Renown and prestige give you rank, things to unlock and coins every time you cross a step. What they never give you is level or an edge in a fight, and the reason is simple: reach and interactions can be bought, and level cannot. If they gave strength, buying followers would be buying power, and this game would stop measuring anything.
There are networks where we do not count interactions, because their terms of use do not allow combining their figures into a score. When that happens, your Nomms tells you and shows you how much was left out, instead of keeping quiet.
Inflating metrics artificially (buying followers or views, bot farms) is not allowed. Impossible growth marks that progress as suspicious and leaves it out of the rankings. That does not close your account: what gets issued is a probability, not an accusation.
6 · If you lose access to a channel
If a channel is deleted, closed or stops being yours, your Nomms does not die and its level does not drop. It simply stops levelling up through that route until you connect another one. What you earned is history, and history does not roll back.
7 · What we do not promise
This is a personal project under development, free and offered "as is". We do not guarantee that it is always available or that it has no bugs, and it can change. If something breaks, it gets fixed; but there is no service level agreement behind it. The platforms you connect belong to third parties, and their rules and their APIs can change without warning us.
8 · Closing your account
Whenever you want, by writing to team@nommeros.com. Everything attached to it is deleted. And you can disconnect a channel without closing the account.
9 · If this changes
This page is updated with its date. Changes that affect your rights or your channels are announced by email before they take effect.
